• Clean the elements as instructed
• Do not use a stiff brush to scrub the media
• Maintain your spa water's chemistry
• Alternate two sets of cartridges when ready to clean
• Use a type of enzyme treatment to break down oils

• You notice shorter cycle times between cleanings
• You notice a lower water flow rate and higher differential pressure
• You notice a catastrophic failure such as a tear in the media or center core collapse
